Hey, now it’s official .. after having written my master thesis with LEAR at INRIA Rhône-Alpes in Grenoble (France), I will start with my PhD (i.e. doctoral studies) in the group. Today, I celebrated my first official working day with waffles for the whole group, thought that’d be a good start :). So in case somebody is wondering where I am .. contrary to my traveling from country to country in the last years, I am now for the next 3 years at one and the same place.

Today I passed my master thesis defense at our department, that means I am now officially Master of Science in Computer Science :D.

Do you know those guys there? George Benson and John Scofield played at Jazz a Vienne. Two very nice concerts :). Appart from visiting concerts, I’m in the process of writing my master thesis .. still some pages to go.

I moved over to Grenoble, France. With the start of March I will work on my master thesis at INRIA Rhône-Alpes in the group LEAR.

My days in Trondheim, Norway, are over .. sad but true. With the end of january I finished my last exam and now I have to get prepared for my master thesis.
